Key Features 🖌
Analogue Color mixing
Create the colors you desire by mixing several pigments on the palette. Digital color mixing has never felt more natural.
Rich impasto Texture
The pressure you apply with your brush shapes the paint on the canvas. Leave a thick layer of paint with a light touch, or flatten it down with pressure. The direction of your brush strokes shapes the light reflection.

Easy blending And blurring
Vermillion is all about wet-on-wet painting. Color blends effortlessly on the canvas, allowing you to create beautiful transitions. You can also easily pull and blur the colors on the canvas with the same brushes you use to paint, for creating effects such as reflections or blades of grass.
Integrated Web browser
With a browser giving you access to the internet's wealth of tutorials and imagery right next to the easel, you're not going to be spending any time wondering where to start, or what to paint next. Use the projector to easily trace images from your PC, or from the web.
High Quality Exports Images and 3D Models
Share your work as an image, or as a 3D model so you can display it on for instance Sketchfab, VR home environments or VR Chat. You can even make a canvas print of your image export and hang it on your wall!

About the developer
Hi, I'm Thomas, the creator of Vermillion! This started as an after-hours project during the first lockdown of 2020, where I discovered the joy of painting for myself through building a prototype. I've continued to work on it next to my day job, and have now finally been able to take it full time!
